13. QUEST LIFELINES - EXPLAINED

There have been a lot of questions and confusion in the group about how to use the new Quest Lifelines. So far this is what I have been able to work out so hopefully it will help explain some of your questions :)
WHAT IS THE QUEST LIFE LINE
The Quest Life Line is the little red and white Nautical Ring in the Quest screen in the right top hand corner.
ABOUT THE LIFE LINE
The first thing is that you can only use the Life line once. If you have multiple quests make sure you pick the right one as while the chosen quest is active you can not use the option again.
Secondly you can not "choose" which life line you receive it is random.
USING THE LIFE LINE
The 3 Random choices you can receive after clicking the Life Line icon are:
EMPLOYEE (harvesting tool icon) - this gives you ability to either work at another persons farm for either crops or facility items but remember that you will have to harvest 10 crop plots to gain 1 crop item and when you work the facilities you will only get a 20% of what has been helped with. If the farm is fertilized then 1 crop will count as 2 so instead of harvesting 10 to get 1 for your storage you will only need to harvest 5.
GIFT (gift box) - this allows you to receive gifts from other farm town players for items that you need but this is only an option if the product you need are one of the current lines that are on the send gifts page. Alternatively you can go to any product that uses what you need (like if you need bellpeppers, look at Supreme Pizza) and click on the + sign to ask for ingredients---When they are sent to you, they go to your gift box---Put them into storage and you just received a "Gift" of bellpeppers and that step will be fulfilled.
TRADE - This allows you to trade (buy from) another player for the items you need. This is only for the items that you can grow on your farms not for any facility products.
