01. CLEANING CACHE & COOKIES

It is important that you clean the cache & cookies out of your browser at least once a day. Rebooting your computer (switching on and off) will also help. This will help greatly with the game play.
Listed below are the instructions for each broswer as well as Adobe Flash Player.  

 

GOOGLE CHROME

Click on the Wrench/Span Tool  (upper right corner) 

Select  Tools on the drop down list

Select Clear Broswing History

There is another drop down box, select "the beginning of time"

Click on Clear Browsing Data 

 

INTERNET EXPLORER

Upper right conner is a circle with spikes - Click on that

Select Tools from the drop down box

Middle of this box you will see Browsing History

Click on the box that says Delete Browsing History on exit. 

Click Apply

Close your Internet Explorer to clean cache and log back in. 

 

FIREFOX 

Go to Tools (top of the browser)

Select Clear Recent History, 

There is a drop down box

 click on everything

 click clear now. 

This will clean cache, cookies, all the apps that put little tags on your computer.

 

 

 

 

OPERA  - CLEANING CACHE 

1. In Opera, click the Tools menu.

2. Click Preferences.

3. Select the Advanced tab.

4. In the left-hand column, click History.

5. In the Disk cache section, click Empty Now.

6. Click OK to close Preferences.

 

OPERA - CLEANING COOKIES 

1. In Opera, click the Tools menu.

2. Click Delete Private Data.

3. Click Detailed Options.

4. Select Delete all Cookies.

5. Deselect the check box for any of the other Private Data options that you don't want to delete.

6. Click Delete.

 

 

ADOBE FLASH PLAYER

Adobe has it's own cache, separate from your browser's cache. Below is the link and instructions on how to clear Adobe Cache.

As a lot of us play other games besides Farm Town this may help with some of the loading and error issues some are experiencing. 

Click on link below, this will bring you to Adobe - Flash Player Help. In the center of the screen you will see a box titled Website Storage Settings panel. This is a live box. 

In the middle of this box you will see a tab titled Delete  Website and a tab titled Delete All Websites.

Under these tabs you will see a list of all website visiting that have collected "cache" 

You can choose which websites to delete individually or delete all websites.
